We know you may have questions about online registration, or what your child needs for a specific program or how to cancel a class, that's why we created this list of frequently asked program questions.

How do I register? Registration is only available through our website. If you are unable to register online, please contact us at (617) 227-5838 ext 10. To register for a class, visit the Programs page and click on the “Register Now” button. This will bring you to a full listing of our program offerings. To sort by your child’s specific age and/or interests, please use our “Advanced Search” on the upper right-hand side of the page and sort using the available fields. Select the class you are interested in and click “Add to My Cart.” If you already have an account with us, please sign in to complete your registration for any program. If you are a new user, you will need to create an account by selecting the “Create a New Account” button. Once you have added all the programs that interest you to your shopping cart, click “Checkout” to complete the transaction and make your payment. You will receive an email confirmation of your registration once you have completed the registration process. What type of classes to you offer? We offer everything from Toddler Art and Music Together to Karate and Soccer! To see a full list of all programs, please visit the Program Descriptions page of our website located under the Programs tab. How do I find out if my child is old enough for a class? Age restrictions for each program are listed in our Program Descriptions. Or, to see a list of all programs available for your child’s age group, visit the Programs page of our website and select the “Register Now” button. In the upper right-hand side of the screen, select the “Advanced Search” button and sort using the available fields. This will allow you to view all programs available to children of a specific age. Where can I find out the dates and times of your classes? To view dates and times of Hill House’s program offerings, visit our Programs page and select the “Register Now” button to see our full list of programs. All running dates and times are listed following the program name on the left-hand side of the page. To find out when program seasons start or end, visit our Calendar. Where can I find the location of my class? Locations are specific to days and times of each program and are listed in the detailed descriptions page within the registration site and on your confirmation email. To view a full detailed list of all programs, visit our Programs page and select the “Register Now” button. Locations for each program are listed on the far right-hand side of the page. To find directions to your class, please visit our Locations & Directions page. How long do classes run for? Fall, Winter and Spring program seasons run for ten weeks. Summer Camps run in weekly sessions for eleven weeks throughout the summer. To find out when program seasons start or end, visit our Calendar page. To find out the specific season a class is offered, visit the Program Descriptions section of our website. What supplies do I need for my class? Specific supplies or equipment required for any program will be noted in red in the detailed description page for that program on our website. To access a full list of programs, visit the Programs page of our website and select the “Register Now” button. Select a specific program to display its detailed description. If special supplies or equipment are required, vendors will be suggested whenever possible. Can I try out a class before I register? Due to limited class size, we are unable to allow participants to try out a class. What happens if I miss a class? Can I make it up at a later time or date? Due to limited class size, we are unable to allow make up classes in you are unable to attend one of the regularly scheduled sessions. However, classes cancelled by Hill House, are made up at the end of the season, with the exception of outdoor programs that are cancelled due to weather. Yes, but creating an account is simple! Please see the next question for instructions on how to create an account. How do I create an account? To create an account, click on the Sign In button in the top right corner of your screen. Once you have filled in all the information, click “Submit” or, if you need to add people to your account, click “Submit & Add New Family Member”. Please note, to register a participant for a program, they MUST be listed as a family member in your account. Once you have created an account, you must activate it by clicking on an activiation link included in your confirmation email. Accounts are required to register for programs, submit a scholarship application, make a donation, buy a membership, and sign up to volunteer. Please note: your account username will be your email address. How and when do I pay for a class? Full payment is due at the time of registration. Payment can be made by either VISA, MasterCard or American Express. If you wish to pay by cash or check, please come to our administrative office to register and pay. Our offices are located at 127 Mount Vernon St, Boston, MA 02018. Summer camp registrations are the only exception to this policy. We will accept non-refundable, 10% deposits for summer camp in lieu of full payment. However, all summer camp balances must be paid in full at least two weeks before the related camp session begins. How do I cancel a registration? Can I get a refund? To cancel a registration and request a refund, please contact Jillian Bracken, Program Coordinator, at jbracken@hillhouseboston.org. A $20.00 cancellation fee will be deducted from all refunds requested by program participants. If you cancel two weeks prior to the start of any program season, you will receive a full refund, minus the cancellation fee. If you cancel after the season begins, you will receive a 50% refund of the total registration fee. When are the Hill House offices open? Hill House administrative offices are open Monday through Friday from 9:00am until 5:00pm. The administrative offices are located at 127 Mount Vernon St, Boston, MA 02108 How can I contact you? Hill House’s main phone number is (617) 227-5838. To contact a specific employee, please visit the Contact Us page. Can I contact my instructor or coach? Most of our instructors are independent contractors and most of our coaches are volunteers from the community. Since instructors and coaches are not employed by Hill House, we will not release their contact information without their permission. We suggest that you ask your instructor or coach if they are comfortable having you contact them directly. However, please respect their privacy and be mindful that our instructors have many students.
