Join Hill House and the Beacon Hill Civic Association for Go Green 2010: A Community Day for the Environment. We'll be planting seedlings, learning about recycling and solar energy, enjoying organic snacks, taking Pedicab rides and much more! Bring your old clothes to donate to the Epilepsy Foundation of Massachusetts who recycles the fabric to benefit their summer camp.

Learn how local organizations like The Beacon Hill Garden Club, The Esplanade Association, Charles Street Supply & Hardware, Casella Waste Systems, and Greenschools among others are helping our community go green.

Living Green in Beacon Hill: A Contractor’s Perspective on Your Historic House
Thursday, March 4th 6:30-7:30pm at the Firehouse (127 Mount Vernon St)
Information and discussion session on topics including current sustainable features of Beacon Hill, thermal imaging, ice dams, windows, lighting, and when to do it yourself and when to call a professional. Guest Speaker: Finley H. Perry, Jr. - Founder of F.H. Perry Builder and a Certified Green Professional.
