Hill House Baseball is downtown Boston’s nationally-affiliated Little League. 

Registration opens today (member only) for our upcoming winter programs:

Born to Play Baseball (3-5.5 years)

Introduce your child to America's favorite pastime through this beloved Hill House class. Through fun games and activities, your little baseball player will learn the basics of hitting, fielding and throwing from an experienced, supportive team of coaches.

This program is taught by Hill House athletics instructors.

AA Baseball Clinic (6-8 years)

Grab your glove and friends to join us on the diamond for this off-season clinic. Keep up to speed and continue to develop the skills you gained from the spring to stay ahead of the game! AA clinic will be run by Hill House’s top baseball coaches to extend the baseball season just a little bit longer!

This program is led by lead baseball instructor Ryan Flanagan.

Baseball Batting Practice (8-12 years)

A great chance to keep sharp in the off-season on the Boston Common. Perfect your swing with our lead baseball coaches and swing for the fences when receiving pitches from our pitching machine or other players. Stay outdoors and continue playing your favorite sport in the fall.

This program is led by lead baseball instructor Ryan Flanagan.

HHLL Winter Baseball Clinics (9-12 years)

Perfect for any players graduating AAA or playing Majors levels to stay in ?baseball shape? through the long New England winter at our indoor facility on Joy Street. Led by our top Little League instructors, players will be led through advanced drills to cover all the fundamentals and ensure this group develops good habits and proper mechanics heading into the upcoming season. As always, an emphasis be placed on having fun through challenging games and situational play.

Advanced Born to Play Baseball (5-6 years)

This clinic-based program is perfect for any players graduating from T-Ball or in AA looking to prepare for the upcoming spring and master the skills of the next level they’ll face. Best suited for players with some experience from Born to Play or Hill House Little League, our instructors can challenge these sluggers and dirt dogs to advanced drills and games that will have them ready for coach pitching, making defensive outs, and hitting for extra bases.

HHLL Fall Baseball (8-12 years)

Our official fall offering for all Little League players in AAA and Majors. Come enjoy a weekly session under the lights on the Common as we try and squeeze in as much baseball as we can before winter settles in. "Fall Ball" will be run by our head Little League instructor Ryan Flanagan and staff who will cover advanced fundamental drills and station work before we finish with simulated games and situational play. Players will stay fresh while developing their skills even further due to this additional time staying outdoors on the diamond.

Hill House Little League (4-12 years)

Season runs every spring

T-Ball (4-5 years)

Graduate from Born to Play baseball and have your player join their first Hill House team! This fun introductory league still covers the basics, but exposes players to formalized game play, the rules, and processes of America's pastime. This year, practices will start as clinics ran by HH athletics staff and end fun games to end the session. Players all receive a hat, jersey, and will be assigned to a team.

AA Baseball - Coach Pitch (6-8 years)

After they have mastered the basics in T-Ball, our players move on to AA and coach pitching! Structured as an intermediate league-- AA expands on the processes and rules of baseball at the next level, while refining hitter swings to the new challenge of hitting the pitched ball. Clinic-based practices led by HH baseball instructors will also help cover making the routine plays in the fields, introducing all the positions in the field, and base-running principles. Players all receive a hat, jersey, and will be assigned to a team.

AAA Baseball - Player Pitch (8-10 years)

Now that they have gone through T-Ball and AA, our players are ready for our competitive AAA league. This league focuses on using the skills and fundamentals they have learned in the prior levels and applying them to formal games throughout a regular season schedule that finishes with a league playoff tournament. Players are challenged to learn the skills of pitching, catching, team defense, relays, cut-off principles, and more. Your player will love the bond they create with their team through a fun season, with the opportunity for call-up games with our Majors teams. Players all receive a hat, jersey, and will be assigned to a team.

Girls Softball (6-12 years)

Come join the fantastic Hill House girls athletics staff on the diamonds! The same coaches you know and love from Girls Running Club, Girls Basketball, and Girls Soccer come down every Saturday morning on the fields to help our girls learn the fun game of softball. Starting with the basics, our girls will be split into age groups and run through clinic-based drills. As the season progresses, the girls will be placed on teams and begin to play formalized games.

Hill House Majors Little League (9-12 years)

After their long journey through the minor league levels, players are ready to play on the big diamonds in our Majors league! Run on the historic Boston Common fields in the middle of the city, this program is led by our top Little League instructors and baseball volunteers. Our teams will compete against teams from surrounding neighborhoods and schedule optional travel games as well. Players also have the ability to continue playing through the summer with our Mayor's Cup tournament team.

Please note that all programs taking place on outdoor athletics fields are subject to change based on permits as issued by the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
