Meet Our Administrative Team


IanIan Moorhouse, Executive Director

After recieving his Bachelor’s Degree in Stage and Tour Management in London, Ian went on to work as Company and Tour Manager for the London City Opera. Ian grew up in Swindon, England, and in 1995 he crossed the big pond to work for Crossroads for Kids, a year round program for inner city kids of Boston. In 2006, Ian joined the Hill House family as Program Director, and in 2010 became the organization’s Executive Director.

Ian has helped Hill House to become a leading provider of childhood programming and events in the Greater Boston area. Ian is a professional member of the American Camp Association of New England and is a lead accreditation visitor. Ian lives with his wife Jen and son London in Scituate.


Alexandra

Alexandra Curry, Marketing & Community Relations Associate

Alex came to Hill House from the University of Delaware; where she studied English, Journalism and Spanish. She grew up in Newburyport, MA and has recently relocated to the South End. Her responsibilities at Hill House allow her to apply public relations, writing and marketing skills in an environment which promotes philanthropy and community.

In addition to brand marketing and targeted media outreach, Alex works closely with Hill House Outreach Program and Council members and heads monthly senior dinners and seasonal community events.


Rachel

Rachel Czubryt, Program Associate

Rachel Czubryt joined Hill House as Program Associate in the summer of 2010, shortly after graduating from Simmons College with Bachelor’s Degrees in English and Communications. After spending much of her undergraduate career involved with the College’s community service center, she was excited to find work continuing her service for the Boston community.

Rachel can be found at the Firehouse’s front desk helping families with registration, coordinating rentals and plotting Friday Friends events.

 


Frank

 

Frank Iudiciani, Finance Assistant

Frank works as the assistant in our finance office; but spent this past summer as a Hill House Camp Counselor. Frank is originally from the North End of Boston, and grew up as a participant in the Hill House Baseball Program. He currently resides in Saugus. Frank graduated this past spring from Arlington Catholic High School and will matriculate at Harvard College in the fall of 2012, where he may study finance. Frank loves baseball (and pretty much every other sport), meeting new people, learning new things and Italian food!

 


Dianne

Dianne Powers, Development Associate

Dianne oversees all of the fundraising and development programs at Hill House, including the organization's largest event, Hill-O-Ween. Dianne has been with Hill House since July 2010. Before joining Hill House, she planned Reunion Weekends at the College of the Holy Cross and planned events at the Citi Performing Arts Center. Dianne received her B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross, where she studied Theater and American Sign Language/Deaf Studies. In her spare time, Dianne enjoys sports, theater and dance.

 


LizaLiza Roman, Finance Manager

Liza has led Hill House’s financial department for 13 years. Near the building’s front steps, you will find a small garden, commemorating her 12th year of service to Hill House. Liza currently splits her time between Hill House and various other non-profits, including local nursery schools. She has also worked for architects, engineers, and designers -- including a specialist in historic designs catering to the White House, historic homes and museums in the U.S. and U.K., and set designers for producers such as Stephen Spielberg. Liza began her finance career at the MIT Press’s accounts receivable department , transferred to the Institute’s Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering Department’s accounts payable. From there, Liza went to the Unitarian Universalist Women’s Federation on Beacon Hill.

Liza also spent time helping to publish a local weekly, The Downtown Gazette, as the paper’s Editor-in-Chief, staff writer, staff photographer and layout designer. Liza’s recreational pursuits include music, art, designing afghans, photography and assembling puzzles for display in the Coop Building at her home in the Fenway.


MacEgan

 

MacEgan Starrett, Athletics Coordinator

MacEgan is a graduate of Bates College where he played football and studied English and Economics. He has been an employee of Hill House since the summer of 2010. MacEgan is Hill House’s Athletic Coordinator and heads all athletic programming, staffing and scheduling. He currently resides in Beacon Hill and is happy to be applying his passions for sports and youth programming
